PERSEVERANCE

Eph. 6:18

Intro: Many times in life we face obstacles that are extremely tough. We encounter problems that we sometimes have trouble dealing with. Many times these problems arrived without any of our assistance or knowledge that they were coming. Sometimes things happen that will cause us to just reach deep within ourselves and find some “grit” to persevere until the situation changes. Today we will look at some times in our life when we will be required to hold on to God’s grace, and exemplify an attitude of perseverance.

I. When the storms come — Acts 27 ” Paul’s trip to Rome a storm arose “

II. When Stress Comes – I Peter 5:7

1. We live in a stressful society

III. When Soul Winning

1. Many doors will be shut in your face

2. Many times you will be laughed at or scorned

IV. When Satan Comes — Eph. 6 ” Put on the whole armour of God”
